“Star Wars” costumer Jen Markham: Ep. 77

Ever been to a Star Wars Night at a baseball game and wondered who all those people in the amazing, lifelike movie costumes are? That’s Jen Markham! I called her up just in time for the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story to find out how much time and money go into her homemade, Hollywood-grade outfits (hint: sometimes four figures), how big the community of Star Wars costumers is (hint: into the tens of thousands), and if we’ll ever get sick of Star Wars movies (hint: probably not).

She even picks what the perfect costume would be for me and, I gotta say, I dig it.

“Riverdale” writer Brian Paterson: Ep. 76

He’s a story editor and writer for one of TV’s hottest shows. Ahead of the Riverdale season two finale, Brian Paterson tells me how the show’s writers room works, who his favorite character is, who decides when Archie and Jughead take their shirts off, and how he deals with the army of passionate Riverdale Nation fans on Twitter.

Plus: will his Mets ever win the World Series again?

New York Mets host Neha Joy: Ep. 75

What doesn’t Neha Joy do? In her first ever podcast, the talented media personality tells us what to expect from her new Time Inc. show The Breakdown, takes us behind the scenes of a typical day hosting for the Mets at Citi Field, and settles once and for all whether you’re “on” Long Island or “in” Long Island.

You’ll also find out what media personality she’s most jealous of. And it’s not me.

All-Time WrestleMania Fantasy Card with Stat Guy Greg: Ep. 74

What if Daniel Bryan could wrestle The Rock in their primes on a dream WrestleMania card? That’s what Stat Guy Greg from ESPN’s “Cheap Heat” came on my show to figure out. He and I lay down the rules and draft our respective rosters for “WrestleMAJia”(1:35), then put our picks in dream matches (32:15). Finally, we talk about what we’re most excited for and worried about at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans (1:01:40). Which I’ll be attending — too sweet!

Spoiler alert: My card is a thousand times better, and that’s the bottom line.
