It’s been a crazy spring for me personally (was best man in my brother’s wedding, traveled to Israel for a best friend’s wedding, sold my house, moved into a new apartment — and that was just March!), and now I’ve got some big news professionally.
Growing up a New York Mets fan, I’m so pumped to announce I’m joining the team this season as a gameday host. You’ll see me at every home game on the Citi Vision board, doing everything from eating churros pregame to asking fans trivia questions between innings.
Can’t begin to explain how excited I am to be back in the big leagues after a couple seasons, so make sure to say hi if you see me at the park!
I’ve become a bit of an expert on not having a job. But which is the best month to not have to go to work?
If you or anyone you know does have a job for me, you know how to reach me.
One of baseball’s greats called it quits this weekend when David Wright took the field one last time for the team I grew up loving. So I took the occasion to rank my three favorite New York Mets players of my life.
If you’re curious, Wally Backman did not make the list.
Olympic gold medalists. MLB Hall of Famers. WWE superstars. Me eating 6 lbs of Chipotle in a single day – my new sports reel has it all!
If you or someone you know is looking for a new host that’ll do or ask anyone anything, make sure to hit me up at email@example.com and follow @mikejanela on all social media.
