Some Mets First Half Highlights

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything, but that’s what happens when you’re working every Mets game, hosting other gigs on the side, and just trying to not be anywhere near a computer when it’s 90 degrees outside.

But now, before the Mets start their second-half home schedule, feels like a good time to get back to the site here. Figured I’d share my 10 favorite pictures from the first half of the season and a little story from each. And if you’d like to see all this stuff when it happens, just throw me a follow on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.

And I’ll try to post more here, I promise!

Meet the Mets

Mets churros

It’s been a crazy spring for me personally (was best man in my brother’s wedding, traveled to Israel for a best friend’s wedding, sold my house, moved into a new apartment — and that was justĀ March!), and now I’ve got some big news professionally.

Growing up a New York Mets fan, I’m so pumped to announce I’m joining the team this season as a gameday host. You’ll see me at every home game on the Citi Vision board, doing everything from eating churros pregame to asking fans trivia questions between innings.

Can’t begin to explain how excited I am to be back in the big leagues after a couple seasons, so make sure to say hi if you see me at the park!

Day in Their Life: Mark Wahlberg

He wakes up at 2:30 in the morning. He goes to bed at 7:30 at night. And he does a million things (church, golf, freezing his body to -232 degrees) in between. Mark Wahlberg’s day is insane. So I tried it.

All jokes aside, two bits of advice: don’t walk near elementary schools alone with a camera when kids are present, and do try cryotherapy; all my muscles felt amazing right away.
