It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything, but that’s what happens when you’re working every Mets game, hosting other gigs on the side, and just trying to not be anywhere near a computer when it’s 90 degrees outside.
But now, before the Mets start their second-half home schedule, feels like a good time to get back to the site here. Figured I’d share my 10 favorite pictures from the first half of the season and a little story from each. It’s been a crazy spring for me personally (was best man in my brother’s wedding, traveled to Israel for a best friend’s wedding, sold my house, moved into a new apartment — and that was just March!), and now I’ve got some big news professionally.
Growing up a New York Mets fan, I’m so pumped to announce I’m joining the team this season as a gameday host. You’ll see me at every home game on the Citi Vision board, doing everything from eating churros pregame to asking fans trivia questions between innings.
Can’t begin to explain how excited I am to be back in the big leagues after a couple seasons, so make sure to say hi if you see me at the park!
One of baseball’s greats called it quits this weekend when David Wright took the field one last time for the team I grew up loving. So I took the occasion to rank my three favorite New York Mets players of my life.
What doesn’t Neha Joy do? In her first ever podcast, the talented media personality tells us what to expect from her new Time Inc. show The Breakdown, takes us behind the scenes of a typical day hosting for the Mets at Citi Field, and settles once and for all whether you’re “on” Long Island or “in” Long Island.
You’ll also find out what media personality she’s most jealous of. And it’s not me.
