ESPN’s Nick Friedell: Ep. 29

Nick Friedell

Nick Friedell has not only covered the Chicago Bulls for ESPN the last 8 years; he’s lived as a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan his entire life – a trait passed down by his grandmother, who attended the last World Series game the Cubs played in.

As you can imagine, with the Cubbies making it to their first Fall Classic since 1945 and the Bulls season starting the same week, Nick and I had plenty to talk about in this episode, including whether just this one World Series win would be enough for his whole life.

MLB.com’s AJ Cassavell: Ep. 28

AJ Cassavell
AJ Cassavell just finished his first year as MLB.com’s beat writer for the San Diego Padres. He joined The Mike Janela Show to talk how he waited 6 years to get the job, what it was like covering the Padres this season, and how working for MLB differs from other media. AJ also has pretty harsh news for fans of In-N-Out Burger.

Bobby KrugerThe Mike Janela Show is back!

After 8 months away, the podcast returns to discuss some of the most popular questions I’ve gotten since leaving the San Diego Padres. Learn more about Bobby on his IMDb page and check out his newest project, which you can donate to now, “In The Field.
